Job Purpose:
Completes commercial construction projects by planning, organizing, and controlling projects; completing quality inspections; supervising sub-contractors and staff, handling safety responsibilities, etc.
Duties:
* Accomplishes construction human resource objectives by training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; adhering to policies and procedures.
* Manages sub-contractors by monitoring and controlling performance, reviewing safety, addressing quality control concerns, scheduling and coordinating deliveries.
* Accomplishes construction project by scheduling and coordinating staff and sub-contractors; evaluating milestone assumptions and conclusions; resolving design problems; evaluating and implementing change orders.
* Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
Skills/Qualifications:
Skilled Carpenter / Operator, Supervision, Managing Profitability, Delegation, Attention to Detail, Quality Focus, Safety OSHA 10 required.
