Summary:
The successful candidate will be asked to shoot edit and publish videography to be utilized on a variety of digital platforms; shoot, edit and publish high-quality photography to be utilized on a variety of digital and print platforms. Storytelling skills and an ability to complete tasks on deadline while working in collaboration with a talented team will be essential. The candidate also will participate in creating a long-term strategic communication plan enlisting multimedia content and multiple communication channels, particularly related to web and social media, with the intent of engaging audiences across multiple demographic backgrounds. The candidate must show a talent for quality photography and videography; have a strong understanding of social marketing; and have experience with digital and broadcast quality video shooting, lighting, audio, and editing techniques. Also required are a strong working knowledge of professional digital photo and video equipment ' licensed drone experience a plus ' and experience and proficiency with photo and video editing products such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with an understanding of marketing and advertising strategy are encouraged as is a willingness to work as a member of a team, independently work under tight deadlines, and assume responsibility for accurate completion of assignments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Write, develop, direct edit and produce radio, television and online content forFantasy Springs Resort Marketing campaigns. Develop and manage a creative content calendar Self-motivated and flexible, requires little management.
- Coordinate audio and video production including casting, script development, lighting, sound, music selection and editing.
- Work closely with the Advertising Department team to accomplish creative objectives
- Oversee all aspects of media production and make informed recommendations for content and format.
- Use a project management system that allows for team collaboration.
- Develop and manage a creative content calendar and ensures timely completion of projects.
- Edit video to include interviews, sound bites, music, graphics, animation and other important aspects of the project.
- Assist department and others with special projects related to writing, filming, editing, etc. as needed.
Job Requirements: Experience and skills:
- 5+ years’ experience in content design/writing and development process.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Editing, audio mixing, graphic design, animation, lighting and sound production
- Ability to write and edit effectively and creatively.
- Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Mastery of grammar, punctuation and spelling.
- Self-motivated and flexible, requires little management.
- Ability to remain detailed-oriented and focused while meeting the demands of a fast-paced environment.
