Locum-to-hire in Bakersfield CA for rural primary care outpatient
Position Details : - Full-time Family Practice or Internal Medicine Provider
- BC Preferred, open to BE within 3 years
- M-F 8-5
- 14 Patients per day
- Location: Tehachapi - rural gem of southern California
- Performing at the highest level of your ability; Can perform in-office procedures such as joint injections/biopsies if skills allow
- Work with Clinic Management to supervise medical assistants, receptionists and such
- Collaborative care-team model
- Refill medications, Review labs, and Complete charting daily, NextGen is the EMR
- Respond to tasks and messages from support staff
- Attend monthly in-person provider meetings
- Responsible for answering lab calls after hours for critical labs on orders you place
