The Quality Engineer is accountable for assisting in developing, implementing, and overseeing the utilization of stringent Quality testing methods in compliance with customer and ISO requirements. Works collaboratively with production teams to identify and address issues, assuring quality processes. Oversees programs and initiatives designed to improve quality, production, and engineering objectives. Drives internal quality analytics and reporting processes, data analysis utilizing Statistical Process Control methods to drive Quality Assurance.

Broad Responsibilities
- Provide support and participates in meetings to provide support, collaboration and cross-functional problem-solving for site related operational performance
- Manage & processes compliance statements, raw material and other sample testing and certifications
- Updates, monitors, and ensures adherence to policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting of quality data to meet customer specifications and ISO standards and requirements
- Coordinates quality-related data from production, service, or process improvement activities, analyzes and interprets utilizing statistical techniques.
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Root cause failure analyses and the development of corrective actions with shared responsibility for the quality of non-conformity reports
- Assist in the development of rework plans, providing technical support and follow-up
- Lead the process of responding to customer complaints, Return, Supplier Quality issues and resolving issues through effective and timely investigation
- Provide back-up and On-call support to Quality Department, including physical product inspection, when needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must have a degree in mechanical, chemical or industrial engineering
- Experience in chemical batch and continuous processes preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Proficient in ERP and QMS systems
- Familiarity with ASTM standards preferred
- Inspection experience
- CMM programing and execution experience preferred
