Title: OT Network Administrator
Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Hybrid
Duration: 6-12 contract (potential to convert)
Day-to-day:
- Working closely with operations departments to identify network issues
- Partner with the operators when there are issues for break fixes
- Network incident troubleshooting
- Network design and maintenance
- Migration of operations systems/platforms from the IT environment to the OT environment
- Installation/set up of OT environments
- Involvement in various migration projects
- Understanding Murphy Oil's network infrastructure and methodology
- Working with firewalls, routing, and networks
Must-haves:
- 5-10 years of experience in network engineering
- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Claroty, Cisco, Carbon Black, wireless/WiFi experience (Cambium/TropOS), SolarWinds, Azure
- Education not required
- Network certificates
- Proficient in Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word
Plusses:
- Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Industrial Network Specialist (CCINS), Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Associate (PCCSA) or higher, and other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Cybersecurity tools;
- SRA (secure remote access)
- CTD (continuous threat detection)
- VMware - carbon black (application control)
- Coming from an industrial/OT background
- Cybersecurity background
- Scripting experience
