Job Description The Information Systems Technologist I (DRTS) supports the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations Maintenance Program (ATMP) contract at Fort Greely, Alaska. Secondary job requirements will be to assist employees with using computer systems. Occasionally perform tasks that include setting up networks, troubleshooting hardware/software issues and training users on new systems. Tasks will vary from Range Shift Lead to information systems specialists. In general, this employee is responsible for providing end-user support for software applications and other computer-related systems. This includes assisting other employees within your company or outside customers. The IST may also supervise the day-to-day work performance of a specific work team supporting Live Fire rotations.
Job duties include:
- Ensure the BAX is prepared and correctly established/checked for each rotation.
- Ensure accurate, timely and complete entries into the AWARE Management Information System (MIS).
- Conduct daily analysis of employee performance of work orders and status of repair parts requisitions using the AWARE MIS.
- Supervise and enforce safety requirements and standards, and quality requirements and standards.
- Supports quality / ISO, security and safety training programs.
- Safeguards all assigned equipment issued by PULAU Corporation against loss, theft, and damage.
- Will be cross trained to support other TADSS and may be assigned tasks to support other ATMP contract equipment on the installation.
Job Requirements - Experience in computer technical development.
- Must have the ability to multi-task multiple missions.
- Must be able to QA/QC player unit installs, target maintenance, network system, downrange network system, and all wireless network.
- Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment and lift a maximum of 50 lbs and carry at least 100ft.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver's license and Post driving privileges.
- Must be able to read and understand manufacturers' manuals or technical documents.
- Must be able to obtain a Government Common Access Card (CAC).
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
