Human Resources Generalist, Learning & Development

Fusco Personnel is actively recruiting for an HR Generalist, Learning & Development, to join our client in leading the nation in the fight on global climate change and the transition to a clean-energy powered economy.
This is a FT Direct Hire position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
Primary Responsibilities
Organizational Development
- Provide critical administrative support while taking on more advanced responsibilities in the design, delivery and management of learning and development initiatives.
- Manage end to end coordination of learning programs, including internal systems, vendor coordination, scheduling, tracking, reporting, and analyzing effectiveness.
- Register, track attendance and completion of a variety of training programs and follows up as necessary with staff to ensure compliance. Plan logistics and processes for learning events and provide project support for learning & development activities.
- Conduct, facilitate and/or monitor HR-related training such as but not limited to EEO and Workplace Violence Prevention and the full suite of annual mandatory trainings, inclusive of scheduling, enrollments, delivery, and compliance tracking.
- Address needs related to learning programs, the employee learning management systems, troubleshoot where possible, and direct employees to the appropriate resource as needed.
- Develop, plan, execute, and operationalize learning and development programs, including mentorship, leadership development, and “Learning Tuesdays,” and track the delivery processes.
- Support the design, implementation and oversee programs focused on developing and applying relevant workplace skills and competencies, as defined in the HR Roadmap.
Governance
- Keep current with mandated professional development plans, trends and learning opportunities. Assist in coordinating training budget and initiatives to ensure development opportunities are provided across the organization.
- Build positive, collaborative partnerships among business units to communicate a holistic approach to career development and encourage a culture of learning.
- Collaborate with various HR Team members on other subject areas within HR, including recruitment, policy development, compensation, benefits, recognition, and the employee life cycle.
- Use critical thinking skills to identify, research, conduct data analysis, and recommend solutions to complex problems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, or related field and 5 years of work experience, with at least one (1) year of proven training program development from concept to delivery.
- Technology savvy with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft products, especially PowerPoint and Excel. Familiarity with learning and development delivery systems.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Time management skills with ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and delegate
- Strong presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel 20%, on average
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree and 3 years of relevant work experience
- SPHR and/or Trainer certification
