Volt is immediately hiring for
Shipping Clerk in Newport Beach, CA.
As a
Shipping Clerk you will:
- Receive and inspect customer product for processing including but not limited to:
- Greeting customers at the service counter
- Receiving shipments from UPS, FedEx, etc.
- Purchase Order Verification (Part number, quantity, etc.)
- Visual Inspection (part damage, previous processing, etc.)
- Verify part quantity
- Stage receiving shelves
- Maintain part identification and traceability
- Accurate and timely data entry of customer purchase order details
- Ensues paperwork is complete and maintained as required by internal procedures
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and work flow of the receiving area
- Effectively communicate with the Customer Resource Team to resolve customer inquiries as it relates to the receiving process.
- Seeks the opportunity to learn new skills and cross-train into various departments.
This is a full time opportunity. Monday thru Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
The ideal candidate will have: - 6 months to 1 year warehouse experience
- Picking, packaging, receiving, labeling and palletizing experience
Pay Rate: $17 to $18.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
