Assignment Dates: February 2025 - May 2, 2025 Schedule: Monday - Friday, primarily 8-hour shifts Flexibility: Candidate must be open to adjusting to a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule if necessary Weekends: No weekend coverage required Position Overview: This locum position will support the Advanced Heart Failure Service at a leading healthcare facility, providing specialized care to patients with complex cardiac needs. The APP will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of care for advanced heart failure patients, covering both inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients with advanced heart failure, assisting with management of symptoms, medications, and lifestyle modifications. Coordinate with the Structural Heart Team to support pre-operative and post-operative patients. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and nursing staff, to deliver high-quality patient care Licensure: Washington state license preferred; Compact state licensure acceptable Certifications: Active DEA, BLS, and ACLS required Experience: Cardiology experience Preferred: Advanced heart failure experience with a solid understanding of heart failure management, therapies, and patient education This role is well-suited for an APP with substantial cardiology experience and a strong interest in advanced heart failure management.
