Job Summary:
The Human Resources Associate will provide essential support to the HR department, assisting in various HR functions and ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations. This role is ideal for individuals looking to launch their career in Human Resources, with opportunities to develop their skills in recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support: Participate in recruitment efforts by reviewing applications, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews. Facilitate the offer and onboarding processes.
Employee Records Maintenance: Maintain accurate and compliant employee records.
Orientation Coordination: Conduct new hire orientations and assist with benefits onboarding.
HR Projects: Assist with HR events, benefits open enrollment, employee communications, and company-wide meetings.
Payroll Assistance: Support bi-weekly payroll processes, including time clock database management.
Policy and Procedure Guidance: Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
Engagement Initiatives: Promote a positive workplace culture through effective communication and colleague engagement.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma required a Bachelor’s degree in HR Administration or a related field is preferred.
Experience: 0-2+ years of HR or office administrative responsibilities.
Skills:
oExcellent verbal and written communication.
oStrong interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities.
oProficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HRIS platforms.
oProblem-solving, change management, flexibility, and adaptability.
oAbility to organize and meet deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.
