We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Recruiter to join our team at JA Solar AZ, a leader in solar manufacturing and renewable energy solutions. As a Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to support our mission of advancing sustainable energy. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and ensure we are attracting diverse, skilled, and passionate candidates aligned with our values and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process, from creating job postings and sourcing candidates to screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.
- Candidate Sourcing: Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking events to build a strong talent pipeline.
- Collaborate with Hiring Managers: Partner with hiring managers to identify role requirements, determine recruitment strategies, and ensure alignment with team and company needs.
- Screening & Interviewing: Conduct thorough candidate screenings, including resume reviews, phone interviews, and virtual or in-person interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Diversity & Inclusion: Foster an inclusive recruitment process by actively sourcing and engaging a diverse pool of candidates to enhance company culture and promote equity.
- Employer Branding: Support and enhance the company’s employer brand through recruitment marketing efforts, social media presence, and positive candidate interactions.
- Recruitment Metrics: Track, analyze, and report on key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate experience to continuously improve recruitment effectiveness.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all recruitment processes and practices are in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 + years of recruiting experience, ideally within manufacturing, renewable energy, or a related industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (experience can be considered in lieu of a degree).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), sourcing tools, and recruitment marketing platforms.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and relationship-building skills; ability to collaborate with diverse teams and candidates.
- Organizational Skills: High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple hiring needs and manage time effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Solar Manufacturing: Familiarity with the solar or renewable energy industry and the specific skills required for manufacturing roles.
- Bilingual Abilities: Proficiency in Spanish or another language is a plus to connect with a diverse candidate pool.
- Certifications: Professional certifications like PHR, SHRM-CP, or AIRS Certified Internet Recruiter are a plus.
