This role is for an electrical technician that is part of a videoconferencing hardware engineering team.
This individual will be responsible for a variety of work within the hardware engineering lab under the direction and guidance of electrical engineers and in conjunction with mechanical and software, and other engineers.
This includes, but is not limited to, board-level testing, debug of electronics, minor electronic board rework (soldering), configuration of software and system hardware parameters, and testing of videoconferencing systems.
Support for compliance testing at an external, local 3rd party lab is also an important aspect of this role.
This team is a development team, so candidates with experience in prototyping work or functioning in an R&D environment are highly preferred.
The nature of the work requires this individual to work on assignments that are complex in nature and require considerable judgment, initiative, and technical/specialized knowledge to resolve problems and/or develop recommended solutions.
The candidate should be able to complete work with minimal supervision and assignments may be completed without established procedures.
