Minimum Requirements: - BA in degree in Accounting, Finance or related field of study. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. - Minimum 3 years experience involving administrative work, accounting (post-award), budget management in a research or non-profit setting.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
· Knowledge of general accounting practices and principles.
· Effective interpersonal skills, problem solving ability and a strong customer service orientation required.
· Have strong computer skills and experience working with MS Office, including Excel.
· Oversees post-award aspects for clinical trials reconciliations, invoicing, accounts receivable balances and performs financial forecasting.
· Regularly communicates with PI’s or staff regarding interpretation of contracts/agreement on funding portfolio with regards to expense allocation per sponsor requirements through close-out.
· Ability to work as a member of a team
· Ability to prioritize workload and function effectively in a fast-moving environment subject to frequent interruptions
· Ability to interact in an appropriate and professional manner
· Demonstrated cooperative behavior and positive problem solving and conflict resolution skills
· Available to work independently, exercising good judgment and respond in reasonable time to a variety of in-house inquiries.
Salary: $55k-$70k
