Long-standing otolaryngology practice in the Hickory, NC area is seeking a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join their growing team! Candidates with some APP experience will be given priority, but the group is also open to training as long as the candidate is a the right fit.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside and collaborate with a team of board-certified otolaryngologists and APP providers
- Primarily outpatient position
- Performing various procedures
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses for new and existing patients
Qualifications:
- North Carolina Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License
- Proficient with EMR systems
- Ability to build rapport with patients and adapt to new environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
