Position: Production Supervisor

Location: Winston-Salem, NC

Pay: $63k/year

Experience:

3 to 5 years of supervisory/leadership experience in manufacturing or related field required

Prior experience in a plant environment, particularly with assembly lines and production lines

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Bachelor's degree or associate Degree preferred

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: 2-2-3 schedule, 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Production Supervisor to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

Supervise, motivate and provide ongoing daily direction to production personnel department of 13-25 persons; provide corrective action as necessary to enforce all policies and procedures

Shut down production line when necessary

Prepare start-up procedures, properly set up equipment, check production schedules, set production codes and examine product for daily run

Ensure proper raw materials are available for product runs

Supervise flavor changes and hook-ups for correct flavor changes; change tanks and switch lines and codes; monitor quality control of water and temperatures

Track key performance indicators and costs, anticipating and correcting trends which would compromise achievement of financial targets

Learn proper operation of all production line equipment

Communicate with team members about the status of production lines

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Understand and follow PQI standards

Position Requirements:

Must also have OSHA and production standards experience

Demonstrate attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills

Showcase problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills

Exhibit computer proficiency, including numerical aptitude

Possess experience with accounting and P&L spreadsheet management

Able to supervise and provide training to direct reports

Works effectively in a team-oriented environment

Demonstrates strong recordkeeping skills

Capable of working the hours required to complete assigned tasks

Proficient in speaking, reading and writing English
