Job Title: Drywall Project Manager / Estimator
gpac, a 30 year recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established company in the drywall industry. Our client company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Drywall Project Manager/Estimator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing drywall projects from inception to completion, including estimating, planning, and overseeing the construction process. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of project management and estimating experience in the drywall industry or a related construction field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with estimating software (AutoCAD, The Edge, On Center) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project).
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and safety regulations.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and handle high-pressure environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with General Contractors (GCs) or as a Project Engineer, with the ability to transition into drywall project management.
- OSHA 30 certification or other relevant safety certifications.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
