Gpac has partnered with a growing agriculture operation that is looking to hire a Warehouse Manager.
Warehouse Manager Responsibilities
- The Warehouse Manager is responsible for establishing operational procedures for activities in the warehouse
- This includes hiring and training new team members to operate the facility
- Verifies incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials and keeping the warehouse inventory current
- Maintains monthly truck reports
- Meets with department leaders to ensure coordination of warehouse activities as well as other functions such as production, sales, records control, purchasing and compliance
- Participates in planning team safety and plant protection activities (i.e. safety data sheets) to comply with OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations
- Handles walk-in sales and works with supplier representatives
- Provides back-up to Truck Drivers and other team members when needed
- Manages other team members
- Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
Warehouse Manager Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Two years of warehouse work experience preferred
- Ability to operate a forklift is required
- Ability to read, write and speak in English is required
- Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Comp:
- $60K-$80K base DOE bonus potential
