Job Description:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of one or more highly technical and complex large-scale cloud platforms per the articulated needs of products it supports to enable self-service of Business Technology (BT) product teams. Own people management responsibilities for 13 business associates. Own the development and delivery of one or multiple high complexity platforms in line with technical or business needs in an agile environment, applying strong understanding of Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban and other agile development frameworks. Manage key relationships with BT stakeholders and translates needs and vision of product teams into platform requirements. Create and maintain the backlog with inputs from stakeholders and the team. Research and analyze industry trends and benchmarking information as they apply to platform(s). Understand, define, and communicate prioritization of features with a mind toward business value and tradeoffs. Participate actively in all team ceremonies to drive team alignment on vision and value delivery. Weigh risks, issues, and impediments being experienced by Platform team(s) and actively assist with issue resolution applying sound knowledge of emerging technologies focusing on cloud products, SaaS platforms, or Enterprise Applications. Inspect platform progress throughout the sprint & make critical decisions and accept work completed by the team. Provide mentorship to business associates through community of practice and other informal forums. Support platform team members as they engage with stakeholders, build a backlog, and deliver work.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 72 months (6 years) of progressive experience as a Platform Owner , Cloud Architect, Developer or similar technical roles, including 60 months (5 years) of experience in an agile environment demonstrating strong understanding of Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban and other agile development frameworks, experience managing design and delivery of highly technical and complex large-scale platforms, sound knowledge of emerging technologies focusing on cloud products, SaaS platforms, or Enterprise Applications; 36 months (3 years) of experience in architecting and managing multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments, application development or platform automation tool development work; and leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and implementing cloud governance, as well as cloud security controls and policies.
Special Requirements:
Two cloud certifications, including at least one professional-level cloud certification (e.g., AWS Solution Architect, GCP Cloud Architect or Azure Solutions Architect).
