We are seeking a Locum Gastroenterologist in South Carolina for a role that involves working outpatient and inpatient. The position requires performing GI procedures such as Upper GI Endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, and PEG insertion (preferred), as well as esophageal dilatation/manometry, small bowel biopsy, lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision. The role includes no after-hours or weekend calls. Candidates should be board certified, have a South Carolina state license(can get this during compliance), BLS certification, and at least two years of post-training experience. Credentialing takes 90 days with a license and 120 days without.
