What You'll Do
As a Behavior Consultant at AccessAbilities, Inc., you will work closely with our amazing team of Behavior Consultants to provide behavior management services in accordance with 460iac in a supportive environment. Behavior Consultants hold sessions in our Merrillville office, the community, and the individual's home.
- Manage a caseload of individuals, including staying within the contract hours and meeting the billable hours requirement.
- Complete assessments, observations, Behavior Support Plans, and reports in a timely and thorough manner.
- Train Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and families on Behavior Support Plans.

Requirements:
Who We're Looking For
- A master's degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, school psychology, or another applied health service area of psychology, applied behavior analysis, special education, social work, or counseling.
- Experience working with the Medicaid Waiver.
- Willingness to drive to and throughout Northwest Indiana, and hold sessions in-person.
- Obtain 10 CEUs per year.
- Willingness to work evenings as necessary to meet the needs of the individuals.
- The ability to collaborate with local agencies and co-workers.
- Professionalism, including the ability to build rapport, collaborate and handle difficult situations with the clinical team and family.
- Have an acceptable driving record and valid auto insurance coverage.
