Position Overview: We are seeking an accomplished Partner-Level Construction Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join our esteemed practice. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in construction litigation, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex cases. Book of business is ideal, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all aspects of construction litigation, including contract disputes, claims, and regulatory issues.
- Manage and lead litigation cases from inception through resolution, including trial preparation and representation.
- Develop legal strategies and provide sound legal counsel to clients regarding construction-related matters.
- Mentor and support junior attorneys and staff in their professional development.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and actively participate in business development initiatives to grow the practice.
- Stay informed on relevant legal trends and changes in construction law.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction litigation.
- Admission to the Virginia State Bar.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven leadership experience and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A robust network and demonstrated business development acumen are highly desirable.
