Funko’s Brand & Marketing Creative team is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Associate Visual Designer to support our larger team in the creation of eye-catching and professional marketing assets, mainly within digital design and photography efforts. In this role, you’ll be an integral part of the team, ensuring that creative assets are executed to perfection and meet brand and licensor standards. You’ll play a vital role in preparing digital designs for various platforms and audiences while collaborating with the photography team to produce high-quality imagery.
What You’ll Do
- Assists with the creation of marketing assets, including resizing and adapting creative assets to meet platform and brand specifications for use in social media graphics, web banners, emails, and digital ads.
- Assist with product image editing, including photo retouching, color correction, and image enhancements to deliver polished visuals for use in campaigns, e-commerce, and marketing collateral.
- Collaborates with both direct teams and stakeholders for determining visual design preferences and expectations.
- Designs original graphics with unique colors, shapes, and typography fonts.
- Maintains schedule, process and individual organization to ensure all materials are created to meet their deadlines.
- Enhancing digital images, including the application of contrasts and gradients.
- Adapts to design feedback quickly and accurately to ensure consistency and goals are met.
- Keeping track of advancements in visual design technologies and applications, as well as industry trends.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum Associate Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in production-based graphic design and digital asset creation, as well as photo retouching, preferably for a consumer product company.
- Experienced product-based and/or catalogue photography is a must including experience in post-production, manipulating images.
- A complete portfolio of visual design examples showcasing digital design and retouching skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a well-developed artistic and creative aesthetic.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and collaborative office environment.
- Superior organization skills, ability to multi-task across several ongoing projects, and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner.
- Must be able to follow a project from concept to completion.
- Ability to work overtime when necessary to complete time-sensitive projects, must be able to handle tight deadlines and be quick in adapting to change.
- Creative, insightful, and well-spoken with ideas and suggestions.

Salary Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $32.00 - 34.00.Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
