Messerli Kramer is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our legal team as a Real Estate Legal Administrative Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with talented professionals, and gaining valuable experience in transactional law.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Document Preparation: Drafting, editing, and formatting legal documents, including contracts and real estate agreements, and preparation of closing books Timekeeping: Tracking and recording the time spent by attorneys and other legal professionals on various tasks and activities, and ensuring that the invoices are accurate, detailed, and comply with client billing guidelines Data Management: Managing and organizing legal department databases and systems, including document management systems, and maintaining client files and contact information Calendar Administration: Assisting with managing attorneys' calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating appointments, and tracking deadlines Proactively ensuring that the legal team is prepared with necessary materials for closings, meetings, etc. Other administrative tasks such as coordinating travel arrangements, processing expense reports, and other administrative tasks, as needed.

REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of legal administrative experience (transactional real estate strongly preferred)
Minimum of high school graduation (business school or related professional legal administrative degree preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Proven ability to manage multiple calendars
