Our globally recognized end client is in need of a
Help Desk professional for a 12 month
CONTRACT TO HIRE opportunity.
Role is 100% REMOTE but requires a LOCAL candidate. Shift is a swing shift M-F 12 to 830pm EST, weekends off, and pays a
MAX of $18/hr W2.
All positions are based on Eastern Standard Time but can be worked from other time zones as long as the time difference is not an issue for the candidate. Initially, any new hire will work 830 am to 5 pm M-F for onboarding, training, and mentoring/shadowing. This lasts approximately a month and a half or so. What You Will Be Doing:- Fields and resolves telephone calls, chat and online portal questions from users providing first-level technical support
- Provides first-tier technical support to assist users questions/issues including those regarding hardware, software, access management, process and procedure, and telecom in an ITSM solution environment
- Providing world class white glove level customer service to this globally recognized brand and all levels of the organization
What You Need to Bring to the Table:- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or Business, with 1 to 3 years of related experience, or its equivalent REQUIRED
- Computer/Technology Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, specifically, MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required. SharePoint, Project, Access is a plus; Knowledge of desktop Operating Systems W2K, XP, 7, 8. Mac OS X a plus.
- Knowledge of PC Hardware and Function; VPN; Active Directory; Remote Desktop Management; Smartphones
- EXCELLENT customer service and communication skills
