Via Seating is hiring an Order Management Specialist to join our team in Sparks, NV!!
The Order Management (OM) Specialist is an integral part of the Production & Order Management team. Working closely with our customers, internal and external sales partners, and production team by resolving requests requiring analysis of situations determining best use of resources. They are responsible for accurately processing purchase orders, ordering fabric, schedule planning and updating orders. In addition, the OM Specialist helps process trade show and project sample orders within the time frames needed. They have daily email communication with customers, customer service and/or our sales team to complete order processing.
Additionally, the Order Management Specialist is a task-oriented self-starter who will work directly with the Inventory Control team accurately and efficiently receiving material such as leather, fabric, and vinyl daily. The Order Management Specialist will be instrumental in the process of creating and updating procedures within the Inventory Control department. This position will require a strong attention to detail and the ability to manipulate large rolls of upholstery material.
This position supports the VP of Production through various administrative and clerical responsibilities. They include inventory analysis, implementation, and management of Lean practices as well as support in the transformation of current and future order management and production practices. An Associate Degree is preferred, but experience commensurate with a degree will be considered.
The Order Management Specialist is an in-office, non-Safety Sensitive position.
Via's Order Management Specialist will work from 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday for the first 6 months of employment. After their initial 6 months, flexible in office scheduling can be arranged based on business demands. This position does require overtime as needed based on business demands.
Pay Starts at $20.00/hour, possibly more DOE!
