7-10 Days of General Surgery Call Coverage January 2025 + Ongoing Locums Job in Central Florida
Jackson and Coker is partnered with a valued client located between Orlando & Tampa that needs bread & butter General Surgery call coverage starting in January 2025.
Details on Assignment :
- Active Florida license + DEA required
- Board Certification or true eligibility required
- Will be covering 24-hour call coverage for the ED; Handling emergent procedures, completing daily patient rounding & tending to new consults
- 7AM - 7AM start and end times
- Must be able to complete an onsite Epic training prior to starting coverage
- Can anticipate seeing between 7-11 patients per day on average (this includes all: seeing emergent/new consults, patient rounding & emergent procedures)
- No APP support in the hospital
- Bread & Butter General Surgery coverage (no scopes required)
- Facility is open to Robotics, however this is not required
- Facility detail: located less than 40 miles from Orlando/airport, Epic EMR, not a designated trauma center, 175+ bed facility
