Job Purpose:
A branch manager works at the function of the branch of a company, managing inside staff, managing inventory, creating a cohesive work environment, supporting corporate sales goals, supporting P& L stability and growth, and overseeing all aspects of daily, weekly and monthly branch needs.
In the Parker Store branch, this position will also help customers at the front counter as may be needed.
Responsibilities:
- Manage branch operations to achieve sales and growth targets.
- Supervise warehouse and store personnel.
- Oversee inventory control, shipping/receiving, and cycle counts.
- Ensure the branch's cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance.
- Provide excellent customer service, including assisting at the front counter and processing will-call orders.
- Assemble hydraulic hoses (training provided).
- Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
- Ensure proper upkeep of branch vehicles, tools, and facilities.
- Support corporate sales goals and P&L stability.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in shipping/receiving and quality control.
- Knowledge of UPS WorldShip procedures.
- Forklift operation experience (preferred).
- Basic math skills and the ability to use a tape measure accurately.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
- Collaborative, customer-service-oriented mindset.
- Marketing and business development experience is a plus.
