You'll play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations and enforcing safety rules. Other responsibilities include scheduling grain movement, plant maintenance, supervise team members, oversee and manage grain quality and make recommendations to improve safety.
An ideal candidate will be able to make decisions, have good time management, and organizational skills, be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and are customer focused.
Responsibilities - Direct operational activities according to divisional objectives to provide patrons with prompt, courteous and effective service while maintain the efficiently necessary to achieve a maximum margin of profit
- Promote communication and adequate information flow within the organization
- Provide training and clear job assignments, correct deficient performance and effective reward and develop all employees
- Evaluate and make recommendations to improve existing programs of housekeeping, safety and equipment maintenance to avoid breakdowns and limit safety hazards. Maintain all related record keeping logs.
- Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and systematically and reports these results to management.
- Maintain record keeping logs on all facility equipment
- Accountable for location safety practices and upkeeping all safety records
- Monitor condition and maintain quality of inventory.
- Ability to operate loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile
- Dispatch sprayer and floater operators, in conjunction with Agronomists.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or needed.
Minimum Qualifications (required) - High School diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations
Additional Qualifications - Ability to work additional hours and weekends to meet business demands
- Valid Class A CDL preferred or ability to obtain one
- Agriculture background preferred
- Customer service experience
