Facilities Maintenance Technician II in
South Gate, CA. As a
Facilities Maintenance Technician II you will:
- Conduct plumbing tasks such as walkthroughs, changing water filters, replacing basic plumbing components, and performing basic drain cleaning with an auger.
- Install and repair building tiles for floors and ceilings.
- Construct and maintain doors, including replacing hardware such as door closures and kick stops.
- Perform painting, drywall, and plaster repair work.
- Ensure proper lighting throughout the facility.
- Maintain landscaping and sprinkler systems.
- Assemble and mount office furniture, pictures, and monitors.
- Conduct periodic inspections on water filters, fire safety devices, and doors.
- Address minor electrical device repairs.
- Conduct facility safety inspections, including fire extinguishers and eye wash stations.
- Participate in the Company 6S program as needed.
- Conduct inspections of concrete and asphalt paving.
- Maintain grounds and security features.
- Coordinate with third-party inspectors and contractors for facility services.
This is a
full time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma or general education equivalent.
- 2 years of facility maintenance experience.
- 2 years of industrial facility maintenance, mechanical a plus.
- Familiarity with CMMS work order systems.
Pay Rate: $23-35 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
