Our client is a leading commercial real estate firm who is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Contract Administrator/Paralegal. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of contract law, negotiation skills, and an ability to manage the life cycle of contracts, specifically within commercial real estate/construction space. This role is on-site located in Royal Oak, Michigan.

Description
- Liaise with external Attorneys with contract reviewal for vendor agreements, subcontractor agreements, service contracts, NDAs, etc.
- Work closely with the internal Contract Administrator team on legal contracts before sending to Attorneys.
- Ensure that contracts are aligned with laws and regulations accordingly
- Conduct research on legal matters relating to construction contracts, including local, state, and federal laws that may impact project execution or contract terms.
- Regularly audit active contracts for compliance and assess whether all parties are meeting their obligations.
- Assist in resolving contract disputes when necessary.
- Liaise with project managers, legal teams, and external counsel to ensure timely execution of contracts and resolve any contract-related issues.
- Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding contractual obligations and modifications.
- Ensure all contract terms and conditions align with company policies and legal requirements.
- Identify and address potential legal risks, advising stakeholders on contract obligations, liabilities, and rights.
- Provide general administrative support to the legal and project management teams, including preparing and filing legal documents, correspondence, and maintaining an organized contract database.
Profile
- Bachelors Degree is preferred, not required
- Must have legal experience within the commercial real estate/construction industry
- Must be able to work on-site Monday to Friday in Royal Oak, Michigan
