About
I am a 26 year old from New York, with many interests and passions. During college, in addition to my education, I enjoyed extracurricular activities including acting, singing, and playing instruments. I traveled during my breaks to diverse places, often on my own, learning about different cultures, geography, and I fell in love with the history of European monarchies and began reading every book I could find, whether it be fact or historical fiction. I have always loved food, trying new things, and during my summers in high school I worked in restaurants and country clubs doing many jobs related to this field. While traveling I developed a further interest in cooking and baking specific to each region. I decided to explore that area after college and was accepted to the Institute of Culinary Education, where I spent a year learning cooking techniques and a year learning baking. I worked in very exciting venues including the Beverly Hills Hotel, Wolf Gang Puck catering, when I had the fortune of working on catering at the Formula One race in Las Vegas. Unfortunately the harsh world of cooking and baking contributed to my taking a break from the field. I still enjoy doing both, but for now I would like to explore more options.
