About
An enthusiastic and ambitious Psychology major from Beacon College who graduated in May 2024, I have a heavy interest in helping individuals explore their mental health. My experience as an entry level Counseling Center position taught me about patients' needs and establishing positive relationships. Communicating expectations and showing care and compassion for others are skills I will bring to this position. At my Counseling Center position I was in charge of formulating research on strategies to help keep a person calm and find ways to help them mentally. I was also in charge of doing research on finding research on people who have certain mental issues and creating a powerpoint to show to other people in order for them to see that they are not alone in the issues they face. The work I did helped me to form strategies and see ways to relate and comfort clients.
