<br /> <span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif"> 4-6 months, Contract to hire.<br /> <br /> Applicants must be flexible with shifts.<br /> Training will be conducted on day shifts, Monday - Friday.<br /> Must be able to work weekends as needed.<br /> Pay rate $24.00 per hour.<br /> <br /> Responsibilities:</span></span> <UL><LI>Prepare & purify DNA samples for sequencing</LI><li>Operate & maintain next-generation sequencing (NGS) platforms</LI><li>Perform PCR amplification for research & clinical projects</LI><li>Analyze sequencing data using bionformatics tools</LI><li>Ensure sequencing run quality & troubleshoot issues</LI><li>Document procedures & results accurately for audits & reports</LI><li>Calibrate & maintain sequencing instruments & equipment</LI><li>Collaborate with R&D and QC teams to support drug discovery projects</LI></ul> Qualifications: <UL><LI>Bachelor of Science Degree, preferably in biology, biochemistry</LI><li>Any industry experience would be a plus, lab experience through school coursework is acceptable</LI><li>Basic understanding of hands-on biology experiments</LI><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office</LI><li>Strong analytical and time management skills</LI></ul>
