4-6 months, Contract to hire.

Applicants must be flexible with shifts.
Training will be conducted on day shifts, Monday - Friday.
Must be able to work weekends as needed.
Pay rate $24.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Prepare & purify DNA samples for sequencing
Operate & maintain next-generation sequencing (NGS) platforms
Perform PCR amplification for research & clinical projects
Analyze sequencing data using bionformatics tools
Ensure sequencing run quality & troubleshoot issues
Document procedures & results accurately for audits & reports
Calibrate & maintain sequencing instruments & equipment
Collaborate with R&D and QC teams to support drug discovery projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree, preferably in biology, biochemistry
Any industry experience would be a plus, lab experience through school coursework is acceptable
Basic understanding of hands-on biology experiments
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong analytical and time management skills
