<p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p><p>Bachelor’s degree: or Associate with coursework in business math, bookkeeping, and accounting.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Role</u></strong></p><p>Under the general supervision of the bookkeeper, the assistant bookkeeper is responsible for assisting the bookkeeper in the following tasks: maintaining a complete set of records for all financial transactions; balancing books; preparing trail balances; maintaining checking and bank accounts; and preparing statistical and tax records.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>To assist the bookkeeper in the following:</li><li>Keeping a complete set of financial records including cash receipts, cash disbursements, general ledger, subsidiary ledger, and general journal.</li><li>Balancing books and compiling statistical reports</li><li>Preparing monthly bank reconciliation and trial balances</li><li>Calculation payroll, preparing paychecks and other pertinent records</li><li>Preparing calculations for payroll taxes</li><li>Preparing and submitting monthly invoices and bi-monthly reports</li><li>Maintaining petty cash and contribution records and funds</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><p><strong>Language: </strong>Speak, read, and write English frequently</p><p><strong>Education: </strong>BS in Accounting or similar field or requisite year of experience</p><p><strong>Experience: </strong>Must have a minimum of two (2) years as an IT manager</p><p><strong>Salary:</strong> $42,000 - $45,000.</p><p><strong>Other: </strong>Must be alert, pleasant, discreet, and professional both in attire and attitude</p>
