Our end client is in need of a Senior Substation Design Engineer II for 6+ Month
CONTRACT opportunity in their Las Vegas, NV location. This position requires the ability to work onsite
40 hours per week FIRST shift. Positions pay a
SALARY RANGE of $130-138K/year and includes a competitive benefits package.
What You Will Be Doing:- Providing comprehensive engineering design services for substation facilities, and ensuring the facilities are constructed on schedule and within committed resource allocations.
- Leading functional teams and providing technical oversight in performing all phases of projects.
- Assisting with internal training for engineers and technicians.
- Working closely with managers and principal engineers on higher-level projects, and in recommending and implementing changes.

Full client job description will be provided upon submittal to end client What You Need to Bring to the Table:- Bachelor's degree from accredited school in electrical engineering and 8 years industry experience as a practicing engineer and PE license REQUIRED. If no PE license, 10+ years of experience as a practicing engineer is REQUIRED.
- Demonstrated experience in substation/control engineering principals and knowledge of other phases of engineering REQUIRED.
- PE License HIGHLY DESIRED
- Areas of cost control, budgets, finance, and accounting with technical experiences in cost analysis REQUIRED.
