The SAP Electric Ops Work Management Delivery organization provides SAP IT services to the Electric line of business. The organization is responsible for strategic technology planning, roadmap development, solution design, solution delivery, and solution support.
Position SummaryAs an IT SAP Functional Analyst - SuccessFactors Expert, you will play a critical role in implementing, configuring, and maintaining our SAP SuccessFactors solutions. Your expertise will ensure the seamless integration of the module with other HR and business systems, optimizing our HR processes and data management practices.
The Functional Analyst analyzes business requirements, creates functional design documents, and performs system configuration and localization to provide system solutions for the Line of Business and IT organizations. This role is viewed as an integral strategic partner and business liaison in technology decisions and provides ongoing system support. This includes analyzing business requirements and developing integrated IT and complex business solutions.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top half of the range described below, but the decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
A reasonable salary range is:
Bay Area Minimum: $122,000
Bay Area Maximum: $194,000
California Minimum: $116,000
California Maximum: $184,000
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory.
This new teammate needs to be able come to Pacific Gas and Electric Company's Oakland headquarters 3 days a week, since all project team is here in person Tuesday to Thursday. Job Responsibilities - Serve as the subject matter expert for SAP SuccessFactors modules including Performance Management (PM), Goal Management (GM), Compensation, Succession Planning, Employee Central Service Center (ECSC), SAP Workforce Analytics & Planning, SAP Build, and SAP Workzone.
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of these SAP SuccessFactors modules, ensuring alignment with business needs and integration with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and S/4 HANA.
- Manage and support the integration of these modules with other SAP Cloud Systems, including SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration), to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, collaborating to achieve shared objectives and ensuring the successful deployment and optimization of SAP solutions.
- Work closely with HR, IT, and business leaders to understand requirements, providing expert guidance and translating business needs into technical solutions across Performance Management, Goal Management, Compensation, and Succession Planning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to these modules and their integration with other systems, ensuring minimal disruption to HR processes.
- Provide strategic advice on the use of SAP modules to enhance HR processes, particularly in areas of employee performance, compensation management, succession planning, and employee experience through Workzone.
- Stay informed on the latest SAP releases, enhancements, and best practices across these modules, conducting regular updates and training sessions for HR teams to maximize system effectiveness.
- Facilitate training and development for end-users to ensure they are proficient in using these SAP SuccessFactors modules and understand their full capabilities.
- Collaborate on the planning and execution of SAP SuccessFactors feature activation, release management, and testing with QA teams.
Qualifications Minimum: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in IT project implementation, specifically with SAP SuccessFactors modules.
- 7+ years of experience in Information Technology.
- 5+ years of experience in HRIS or SAP module implementation and configuration.
Desired: - Proven expertise in SAP SuccessFactors modules including Performance Management, Goal Management, Compensation, Succession Planning, Employee Central Service Center, and Workzone.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Integration Center, SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration), and API management.
- Knowledge of HRIS architecture, particularly relating to performance management, compensation, and succession planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications in relevant SAP SuccessFactors modules are highly desirable.
- Graduate Degree or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in business analysis.
- 9+ years of job-related experience.
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification.
- CCBA (Certification of Competency in Business Analysis) certification.
