Description
Some of the responsibilities for the successful Embedded C++ Software Engineer will include:
- Contributing as an Embedded Software Engineer to help the design & development of new features into their current (and new!) medical devices & scientific instrument products
- Act as a lead on the embedded software team - you will work closely with the Director of Software Engineering whilst also mentoring and conducting code reviews with a Software Engineer on the team
- Collaborating with other departments across the organization, including the hardware engineering & laboratory teams
- Work with stakeholders at all levels to ensure the successful development and production of all devices
Profile
The suitable Embedded C++ Software Engineer will have the following experience:
- Embedded C++ development experience
- Experience as a Software Engineer working on a medical device
- Qt UI Framework experience
- Embedded Linux
- Experience working in a regulated environment (ISO, FDA)
- FDA Submissions experience is a plus
- New product development experience
- A Bachelors or Masters Level Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Science field
- Clear communication - both written and verbal
