Job Purpose
Perform general studio operator duties of camera studio and broadcast controller in AMC's studio and broadcast controllers
Key Roles & Responsibilities
VTR operator tasks:
know what is included in the feed list, when what kind of recording should be made
the name of the file must be accurate
always check that there is enough storage space on the recording devices
MOG: making sub-clips, compilation of playlists if necessary on 2 ports, setting loop, using time-line
Kipro: download title-bp-loop, create a playlist and play it, know how to use the loop on-off option
Knowledge of video analysis system, handling of Delta Cast equipment
BLT operator tasks:
Making highlights and playing them on air
Collecting and playing sports scenes
Page-Bank management, creation of a clip-play list, consideration of the content, when and for what purpose it is created (half-time summary or goals at the end of the match or end clip)
Delta Cast operator:
Knowledge of video analysis system, handling of Delta Cast equipment
Sound technology basics
knowledge of incoming sound tracks and signal paths, which can be controlled where (gain)
Recording Hu 4-track Cz 6-track on Pgm, knowing groups and auxes, what kind of sound is sent where and how
knowledge of command system management
knowledge of a loudness meter, creating an objectively good sound image
cd player used
Basic knowledge of CG treatment:
start a program by calling the "job" of the given program
entry, write-copy-update the table and put it on the air
release of two-box base
video mixer basic management:
knowledge of pgm-prw lines, use of dsk, assembling two-box
putting together tricks with keys
General expectations:
be prepared for what kind of program you will produce on the given working day
transmission session interpretation
pay attention to the instructions of the presenter, technical director and, where appropriate, the editor
basic knowledge of specific sports (offside, 11-a-side, draft, etc.)
