Staff Software Engineer (Frontend) HealthTech New York, New York (Hybrid) $160,000 - $180,000 Equity The Company: We’re partnering with a fast-growing HealthTech startup transforming biosample management by connecting data across healthcare organizations. Their platform accelerates pre-clinical research and advances healthcare, serving biotech companies and healthcare organizations. The Role: As the first frontend focused hire, you’ll have the opportunity to take full ownership of building out and enhancing the user interface for their sample procurement marketplace. You will be responsible for ideating and developing features that improve the user experience (UX) of the platform. This is an exciting opportunity to work autonomously, driving the frontend development with your expertise in Next.js, React, and modern frontend technologies. You’ll work closely with the Software Development Manager and collaborate with other team members to ensure the platform delivers a seamless, efficient experience for clients in the healthcare and biotech sectors. Your Skills and Experience: Frontend development experience, ideally in a startup environment Expertise in building scalable, responsive web applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and JavaScript Experience working with AWS and cloud-based technologies Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and ability to improve complex user flows Proven ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects from ideation to implementation Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize and execute efficiently Strong communication and collaboration skills for working cross-functionally Experience in healthcare or related industries is a plus, but not required The Benefits: A base salary between $160,000 - $180,000 Equity and comprehensive health, dental, vision, and 401k benefits.
