IT System Analyst - Onsite 3 days/week in Chicago, IL Optomi, in partnership with an industry leader, is seeking an experienced System Analyst to join their team. This person will help a small support/help desk team manage tickets, connectivity issues, and work closely with network, systems, and security teams to resolve issues. Responsibilities: Provide support for hardware, software and network issues escalated from Tier 1/2 Manage/close out tickets in ServiceNow and escalating issues to appropriate teams Provide advanced support for Active Directory- creating groups, adding/removing, group policy, etc. Troubleshooting/patching Windows servers and operating systems Checking network and system connectivity issues utilizing DNS and DHCP Managing access control lists at different sites Utilizing VMware to login and view hosts to make sure systems are powered up Apply today if your background includes: Ability to work on-site 3x/week (Mon-Wed) in Chicago, IL area Windows troubleshooting and Active Directory experience ServiceNow or Jira ticketing experience (will use ServiceNow in this role) Networking knowledge when it comes to checking ports/connectivity DNS/DHCP protocol experience Experience working cross functionally and escalating issues to different teams within the organization VMware knowledge (not a must have for this role)
