Senior Business Analyst (Contract) Remote - Must Work CST hours Optomi, in partnership with an industry leading food distributor, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead a critical project that will involve modernizing and enhancing a data and reporting tool used and sold to healthcare facilities. As part of this project, you will collaborate with business stakeholders and software developers to rewrite a legacy tool, adding new functionality while ensuring it meets the needs of customers. Responsibilities: Partner with business stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and software developers to gather and define detailed project requirements. Develop a comprehensive Business Requirements Document (BRD) and work closely with developers to ensure smooth project execution. Enhance the tool's functionality to support reporting needs, focusing on profitability, nutritional data, and other metrics. Act as a bridge between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring alignment and delivering a robust product. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst, preferably with expertise in data/reporting tools. Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication. Familiarity with healthcare environments (e.g., nursing homes, rehab centers) and their reporting requirements is a plus. Experience working with hybrid methodologies (Waterfall planning, Agile execution). Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with engaged stakeholders.
