Company match is fully vested when contributed Exceptional, tight knit team who deliver best results and truly care about doing the best job they can In person just north of downtown every day ROLE WITH THE COMPANY: The Financial Analyst is an integral part of providing financial modeling , product line analysis and business intelligence who will facilitate decision making for senior management. The Financial Analyst will work cross functionally with other areas of the organization. The success of the position will be measured by the organization's ability to make meaning of the financial and operational data and to quickly act on that data. Essential Functions Support the financial view of company financial results across multiple financial statements and working capital management, including the development and analysis of key financial ratios. Assess the performance of assets against projections. Track and maintain reporting on multiple revenue and expense streams, including management of key operational metrics. Perform monthly variance analysis to forecast and concisely communicate drivers to key stakeholders. Partner cross-functionally to develop financial models to support key business decisions. Assist in the preparation of annual and long-range operating plans through evaluation of historical performance, outlook business plan, and competitor analysis. Build and maintain driver-based models utilizing different data sources for different functions. Develop and/or continuously improve standard monthly reporting mechanisms to be leveraged across the business. Conduct analyses to evaluate proposed investments and projects to assess the impact of risks. Support ad-hoc projects and requests as they arise, with agility. Candidate background: Bachelor's degree in finance or related field required; Master's degree in finance or related field preferred 4 years' experience in financial analysis and financial modeling Experience with executive leadership reporting/presentations Real estate development experience or working for PE owned company a plus Knowledge of cost accounting a plus Results driven, doer and innovator, high energy, accept challenges with no idea how to do it and figure it out Understands how to develop relationships and who to get involved to get stuff done Strong Excel skills specifically in Excel modeling required; experience with Yardi and NetSuite preferred
