As part of Insight Global’s Finance team, the (Sr) Financial Analyst will work directly with Executive and business leadership, providing proactive financial analysis, updates on performance, and assistance in decision making. This is a high visibility role with direct exposure to divisional leadership and corporate executives. Overview and Requirements: Reports to Senior Director of Finance Must be comfortable with or have a desire to interface with executive leadership, answer questions, and voice opinions Comfortable with a high-growth, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Insatiable curiosity and a mindset of a perpetual student At least 1 year of experience in an FP&A or detailed financial modeling role, or other applicable experience/skills Forecasting and analytics experience a plus Advanced Excel required, experience with Tableau or Power BI a plus Comfort with sourcing data from a data warehouse via SQL Server or Tableau interfaces a plus Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth financial analysis and prepare comprehensive reports on financial performance, trends, and forecasts. Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast, providing detailed explanations and recommendations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies and initiatives Support the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable budgets Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, incorporating input from various stakeholders Monitor and report on key financial metrics, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities Design and maintain complex financial models to support various business scenarios and sensitivity analyses Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data by implementing robust data validation and quality control measures
