LHH is searching for a Staff Software Engineer for our client in Bentonville, AR. If so, this role might be perfect for you Lead the design phase for large-scale engineering projects, translating strategic goals into sustainable architecture and solutions. Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure stable, scalable platform development. Perform design and code reviews while providing technical leadership for complex software projects. Implement machine learning models in real-time environments in partnership with Data Science teams. Manage and resolve production issues through root cause analysis and proactive problem-solving. Experience: 6 years of experience building, managing, and scaling distributed fault-tolerant systems. Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and other object-oriented programming languages. Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases, Apache Hadoop, Spark, MapReduce, and Kafka. Knowledge of machine learning techniques and integrating ML models into real-time applications. Strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Experience in AdTech and/or Search is a plus. Tech Stack: Programming Languages: Java, Spring Boot, and other object-oriented languages Big Data Technologies: Apache Hadoop, Spark, MapReduce Databases: NoSQL databases Messaging Systems: Kafka Machine Learning: Collaboration with Data Science teams to implement models Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, IT, or a related field with 4 years of experience, OR Master’s degree in the same fields with 2 years of experience, OR 6 years of experience in an analytics-related field. Compensation: Bentonville: $120,000 - 135,000 (Salary ranges include potential sign-on bonuses and new hire equity opportunities.)
