CANDIDATES MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TOP-SECRET SCI SECURITY CLEARANCE WITH A FULL-SCOPE POLYGRAPH TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION Title: Software Engineer/Reverse Engineer Location: onsite - Fort Meade, MD Duration: Salaried/FTE Salary: $150,000-165,000/year (depending on experience) Interview Process: 3-round interview process Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph Must-Haves: Active TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph Bachelors degree in information technology, software engineering, or related (or additional years of experience to supplement) 5 years of offensive reverse engineering experience 5 years of development experience with multiple coding languages such as C, C#, C++, Python, SQL, and Java Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows operating systems Experience identifying, mitigating and resolving vulnerabilities within security systems DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II certification Experience with Jira, Confluence, and GIT Experience working in an Agile environment Understanding of networking Ability to obtain/meet DoD 8140 Cyberspace Workforce Day-to-Day: As a Reverse Engineer, you will possess expertise in Cyber Security and development to design, test, implement, and manage safeguards against cyberattacks. Responsibilities include identifying, mitigating, and resolving vulnerabilities within existing security systems. Collaborate directly with penetration testers to conduct penetration tests and assess potential security issues. Develop comprehensive security measures across the organization. Prepare performance reports and communicate system status to keep users and leadership informed. Ensure quality service by adhering to organizational standards, attending educational workshops to enhance technical knowledge, and reviewing relevant publications. Experienced in developing vulnerabilities for embedded systems.
