Seeking candidates with a senior-level profile, possessing a minimum of 5 years of accounting (specifically fund accounting) and financial analysis experience within a hospital or comparable setting. Must-Haves for the Role: 1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required. 2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of accounting, specifically fund accounting, and financial analysis experience in a hospital or similar environment. Experience as a Senior or Lead Financial/Budget Analyst, with the ability to train and develop junior analysts. Demonstrated experience in developing new financial reports, tracking and reporting on KPIs, budget/variance analysis (researching and explaining variances), and financial modeling (creating, building, and maintaining). 3. Technical Skills: Advanced Excel proficiency, including v-lookups, pivot tables, sum-ifs, and working with large linked files. Familiarity with major financial ERPs, such as Infor Lawson. Understanding of GAAP, the General Ledger, and the Chart of Accounts. 4. Other Skills: Strong analytical ability to interpret and explain financial data. Extremely detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Proven ability to multi-task and meet competing deadlines. Capable of working independently under general direction. A quick learner able to adapt to new processes or tools. 5. Interpersonal and Team Skills: Experience working collaboratively with Finance, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and external vendors.
