JOB TITLE: Financial Analyst REPORTS TO: Senior Financial Analyst STATUS: Non-exempt JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the evaluation and execution of acquisitions, developments, new business ventures, recapitalization efforts, and debt covenant requirements. Your expertise will support the preparation of detailed reports, analyses, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including management, investors, and lenders. The position also requires conducting ad hoc analyses to address evolving business needs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial Modeling & Analysis: Update and maintain acquisition, development, and operating models using current financial data and forecast assumptions. Assist in creating dynamic financial models for new business ventures. Analyze financial data, market trends, and property performance to develop quarterly investment reports for self-storage properties and other real estate ventures Assist with monitoring and managing a diverse portfolio of properties ensuring accurate reporting and performance tracking. Stakeholder Communication: Compile detailed financial packages to assess acquisitions, developments, and new business ventures. Draft and edit investor communications, including updates, emails, and presentations. Due Diligence & Special Projects: Support due diligence for real estate acquisitions, developments, and new business opportunities. Design or refine financial analysis models to evaluate emerging business opportunities. Take on special projects and ad hoc reporting as needed to support organizational goals. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, investor relations, or a similar role. Familiarity with the real estate industry. REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis tools. Strong skills in financial analysis, data visualization, and report generation. Skills with Microsoft Business Intelligence preferred but not required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize effectively. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, bend and reach.
