Non Invasive Cardiology Locums to Perm Job in Connecticut Beginning ASAP + Ongoing for 9 Months Assignment
Schedule: 7 on and 7 off, inpatient coverage 8AM-5PM in the hospital then unrestricted call-5PM-8AM
Details/Requirements:
Inpatient APP support overnight, but MD takes first call
Non-invasive testing/nuclear stress tests/TEE during the 8A-5P shift
Reason for Coverage: retirement
Average Number of Inpatient Admissions Per Physician Per Day: Consults only - varies significantly - you have the support of APP and Fellows inhouse - approximately 25-40
Trauma Level/Designation: Level One
Total Number of Beds: STF 600 total/will be covering 25-40 with APP and fellow support
Number of ICU Beds: STF 42 total/will be covering 1-10 with fellow support
Number of Cardiologists Physician in Group: 12 in total group - noninvasive 7
Other Cardiologists be Present During our Locum's Coverage: Yes
Required to Supervise Other Health Care Providers: Supervision of APP and Card Fellows
Patient Age Demographic: Adult and Geriatric
Documentation System/EMR: Epic
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Will push for ASAP but please expect min 30-60 days for credentialing
Must be local to CT - only mileage is reimbursed
Board Certified/Board Eligible
Connecticut license
ACLS
Only non-invasive cardiologists. (Strictly non-invasive work)
