About the role
We're looking for a proactive, organized, and experienced Senior Executive Assistant to support our General Counsel (GC). You'll play an important part in managing the GC's schedule and supporting our legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our General Counsel and make a difference. Your strong organizational skills, proactive attitude, and ability to juggle multiple priorities will be key to keeping things running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Support:
- Manage the GC's calendar, including scheduling meetings, calls, and travel.
- Be a liaison for the legal team, handling confidential communications.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and track follow-up items.
- Draft, proofread, and edit legal correspondence, reports, and presentations.
Legal and Administrative Support:
- Help with contract management, document organization, and filings.
- Handle tasks related to compliance, corporate governance, and regulatory matters.
- Coordinate legal department initiatives, including training sessions and policy updates.
- Lead planning and agenda-setting for Legal Offsite events.
- Work with other Executive Assistants supporting senior management.
Project Management and Operations:
- Support cross-functional projects involving Legal, Finance, People Experience, and business teams.
- Conduct research and provide summaries on relevant legal and business topics.
- Help with budget tracking and vendor management for Legal Ops.
- Manage multiple high-priority projects, ensuring follow-up and completion.
We are considering applicants for our New York City office for this hybrid role, which requires three days in the office.
About You
We get excited about candidates, like you, because...
- 8+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role supporting senior executives within legal, corporate, or professional services environments.
- You have experience managing calendars for executives with complex schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling domestic and international travel arrangements
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting and reviewing legal documents and correspondence.
- You handle confidential information and sensitive communications with care.
- You manage and prioritize multiple workstreams simultaneously, with experience leading multiple cross-functional projects.
- You address problems and anticipate needs, with experience reducing executive response time through proactive planning.
